It’s a full moon out there today as I write this. According to Hindu mythology it is Sharad Poornima or Full moon day of the month of Sharad (September-October). It signifies the end of summer and the beginning of winter as nights have become cooler, with a definite nip in the air.
The Full moon each month signifies the completion of a cycle and brings out the karmic tasks out in the open. To reach there take baby steps toward fulfilling them at the new moon cycle. Which means on the day of the new moon taking small steps towards your goals will take you towards completion around Full moon.
Recognizing your karmic tasks takes just this, to follow your intuition and indulge your energies. Following your hunches and taking action expends your energies. Then your body is ready to receive more energy from the universe. Keep this cycle of energy, flowing free by expending what is inside, and the best time to start is on a new moon day.
The waxing moon lends strength as it increases in size. Keep taking the steps.
Making a resolution on a new moon day is sometimes enough too. This affirmation will take you towards completion. Not all goals will fructify during the next full moon. Some will take a few cycles, but complete they will.
